When it comes to getting the windows you want, don’t settle for second best. At Adorn Windows, our double glazed windows are of the highest quality across the West Country and offer great value at a competitive price.
While uPVC might still suffer stigma from its use in the 1980s, the uPVC in our products today couldn’t be more different. Sleek and durable, it is an extremely insulative material that comes in a range of wood finishes and colours to customise to your style. Our aluminium windows are also a modern and durable option for those who want their windows to have a slimline look.
New window ranges
We carry bay and bow windows for a light-filled space, traditional sash windows for a classic look, French windows, casement windows, and the more modern tilt & turn windows for two ways of opening.
Choosing the right window style for your home is an important step in customising your living space, adding light and functionality to your space. What window frame is best?
This all depends on your home, style, budget, and preference. For a durable window frame, aluminium is a strong yet subtle material, which is on the higher end in terms of cost. PVCu is a more modern and affordable alternative that comes in many finishes. Timber frames are stylish and in keeping with a more traditional style, but can require more upkeep than other window frames.

Will I save with my new windows?
If you’re upgrading from an old window, then usually yes! The most noticeable difference in savings will come from an upgrade from single to double glazing, and from double to triple glazing. Particularly when upgrading from single glazing, you will benefit from added insulation and less heat loss, which you’ll certainly notice in your heating costs.
If you’re upgrading an older window model, it’s likely the window seal may have worn down over time, so an upgrade to a new design will also improve the efficiency of heat insulation and reduce draughts in your home.
By installing our brand new double or triple glazing from our expert manufacturers, you will likely see energy savings. However, the most apparent, significant difference will occur if you are upgrading your single glazing windows.
Can I match my house design with my windows?
Our windows come in a large variety of colours, styles, finishes, and bespoke designs so there will be one that is ideal for your home! Our uPVC windows are modern and sleek and come in a range of colours and even wood finishes that can be customised to your style. Opt for traditional sash windows, standard casement, or classic bay windows for a look that complements your space.
What type of glazing should I get?
The standard in window installation today is double glazing. Single glazing is inefficient and rarely used in modern installations, while triple glazing isn’t always necessary and can be added as an upgrade. When it comes to double glazing, we have found that a 28mm unit with a pane gap of 20mm is the most efficient regarding heat insulation and noise reduction, which comes as standard with all of our double glazing window installations.
Contact us today if you would like to talk about triple glazing options, which is best for cold areas and optimal thermal efficiency. Three panes of glass and two gaps make up our triple glazing, perfect for rural properties where temperatures can plummet during the winter months.
What is your warranty on windows?
All of our windows come with a 10-year guarantee under our terms and conditions. At Adorn Windows, we are committed to providing installations that meet the highest standards and many of our windows last longer than 10 years with good maintenance and care. Check out our repairs and maintenance page for tips on window care, or get in touch to find out more.
Do I need new windows?
Replacing windows is a decision that is entirely yours, but upgrading yours can have multiple benefits for your home. While our windows are durable and long-lasting, each window is different and lifespan often depends on their maintenance and usage.
Common signs that it’s time to replace your windows include:
— windows that are difficult to open or close
— condensation forming between the panes
— inner window panes that are cold and not keeping in heat
— visible wear and tear.
If these signs apply to your windows, it’s probably time to invest in new windows.
