There are multiple ways you can upgrade your conservatory to regulate the temperature in your conservatory. You could try upgrading to double or triple glazing to keep your space insulated, or add a tiled roof to your conservatory to further regulate temperature.
However, if you are looking for a more drastic change then you could opt for a complete upgrade. At Adorn, we will use the latest technology and modern design solutions to help you bring your conservatory up to scratch. You could install warm lighting around your conservatory to bring a warm glow to your space, or add tinted films to the windows to reduce the sun’s glare on summer days.

What are the best ways to upgrade my conservatory?
If you want to upgrade your conservatory, there are a range of options available to you. The first thing you want to do is identify the issues you have with your current conservatory. Are there issues with temperature control? Are the locks on your windows and doors not operating properly? Are the sun’s UV rays damaging and bleaching your furniture? Is your roof constantly covered in dirt that is hard to shift? We can help you fix all these issues, just contact us to discuss which upgrades would be best for you.
How can I upgrade my conservatory to make it more insulated?
There are a few ways we can help you to reduce heat loss. If you have an old Polycarbonate roof, this may be the reason you are losing heat. You can replace this with a double glazed glass roof, a tiled roof, or even a lantern roof. If you have an old conservatory you may also have single glazed glass, meaning you can easily upgrade to double glazing and reduce your energy bills this way.
When should I upgrade my conservatory?
Old fashioned conservatories do not perform as well as new conservatories. If you have an old aluminium conservatory, then you might need to replace your conservatory all together. Even an old PVCu conservatory can be upgraded by installing new windows. If you notice a reduction in thermal efficiency or frequently feel draughts and cold spots, then it may be time to replace your conservatory. If you are unsure about whether you need to upgrade or replace your existing conservatory, contact us for a chat.
How can I upgrade my conservatory to make it match my project?
Advancements in construction technology and materials make it easier to upgrade your conservatory so that it fits with your current home. We offer many finishes on PVCu, so you can match your current window finish with that of your conservatory.
If you’re thinking of upgrading your conservatory with a tiled roof, then we can find tiles that will allow it to blend with your current roof. If you choose to add dwarf walls or pillars, then we can match these to your home’s brickwork.
